Wiley King’s story came to us from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. An annual contest was held for patients to submit their interpretation of NASCAR paint schemes and, if chosen, would then be seen on actual NASCAR race cars at the Memphis Nationwide Race. Wiley, who suffers from craniopharyngioma, got the chance of a lifetime.

I produced this feature, interviewing Wiley, his father, David Reutimann and we turned this feature around for the following race weekend.
